D.F., a 27-year-old builder, presented with severe lower back pain and radiating pain down his left leg for a duration of two months. The pain made it difficult for him to walk, bend, and carry out his work duties. An MRI spine scan revealed degeneration of the L4/5 intervertebral disc, with a left posterolateral disc extrusion causing compression and displacement of the descending left L5 nerve root.
Following the diagnosis of a Prolapsed Disc, D.F. underwent various treatments including painkillers, physiotherapy, chiropractic care, and epidural treatment. However, these interventions proved ineffective in providing lasting relief. The hospital recommended surgical intervention, but D.F. expressed his reluctance to undergo surgery and sought an alternative approach.
Upon consulting with me, I initiated a treatment plan consisting of Tui Na Medical Massage, Cupping, and Acupuncture. After just three sessions, D.F. experienced significant improvement. We continued the treatment for a period of two months, during which he achieved full recovery. D.F. successfully returned to his former job and reported feeling well.
In addition to the above case, I have also successfully treated conditions such as Fibromyalgia, as well as muscle, tendon, and ligament injuries using appropriate TCM modalities tailored to each individual’s specific needs.
